Intraductal Papillary Neoplasia Arising from Intrahepatic Bile Ducts

DOI : 10.5146/jcpath.2017.05 Aim: Simple hepatic cysts are the most common entity among benign nonneoplastic lesions. It is seen as 2.5 % of the general population (1). Biliary cystic neoplasia is a very rare entity, and remains as less than 5% of the biliary cystic lesions with intrahepatic location (2).

Case: Left hepatectomy was performed to a 50 year-old-female patient due to the hepatic mass. It was diagnosed as high grade intraductal papillary neoplasia.

Conclusion: The case was presented with the clinical and histopathological findings as an uncommon lesion. Anahtar Kelimeler : Intraductal, Biliary duct, Papillary neoplasia
